Job Description We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with proven expertise in Waterfall project delivery, rigorous financial management and strong expertise in managing full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projects. This role requires a leader who can drive projects from initiation to closure while ensuring precise control of budgets, costs, forecasts, and variances. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of medium to large-scale technology initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, QA, infrastructure, and vendors. The successful candidate will also excel in managing EAC (Estimate at Completion), ETC (Estimate to Complete), and overall project financial health, while ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and stakeholder expectations. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Financial Setup Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria using Waterfall methodology. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation plans. Establish the initial project budget, financial baselines, and cost tracking mechanisms. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure correct setup of cost codes, billing schedules, and reporting structures. 2. Execution, Monitoring & Cost Control Manage project teams to deliver milestones in a structured, sequential manner. Track progress against scope, schedule, and budget, with a strong focus on financial performance. Regularly update EAC and ETC, monitoring variances and implementing corrective actions. Maintain accurate forecasts for labor, materials, vendor costs, and contingencies. Ensure all expenses are properly recorded and billed in accordance with contract terms. 3. Risk, Issue, and Change Management Identify and assess financial risks, including cost overruns and funding gaps. Maintain a risk register and issue log, with documented mitigation strategies.
